Crimson Submission Information

Crimson Rose features edge-of-the-seat contemporary romantic suspense. Stories driven by revenge, greed, betrayal, anger, love, desire, yearning and more. Think kidnappings, murder, blackmail, deceit, white collar crime, political intrigue and everything in between. Danger caused by menacing villains. Passion explored by dynamic heroes and heroines.

We are looking for manuscripts with secrets that need to be revealed and the people who will do anything to stop that from happening. Entwined with the jeopardy these characters experience should be the developing relationship between the hero and heroine—romantic chemistry with a twist. So no matter the thriller, keep in mind that romance needs to be the driving force in the story and it all needs to be neatly tied up at the end of the book.

For 2009, Crimson Rose has also issued a submission call for “Men in Uniform.” Take these stories of intrigue and desire and create a hero in uniform. This uniform could be anything from a Naval dress white uniform to an astronaut to a doctor to a dog catcher to a postal worker to…use your imagination. Submit your query with Men in Uniform in the cover letter.

Please be sure your story is a romance before submitting. For more information on how we define ROMANCE, please read the articles listed in our FAQ section.
